ABOUT Trapper’S Sushi Co.
At Trapper’s we don’t do traditional sushi. Our mission is to bring Pacific Northwest creativity and flavors to your neighborhood, delivered fresh by our uncommonly friendly crew.
Trapper O’Keeffe has been preparing sushi for over 20 years. He trained in Reno, NV under his brother-in-law, Eisuke Sato, at the age of 17. After Eisuke returned to Japan, Trapper took what he learned to Washington state. He quickly found his unconventional style of sushi was very popular and began searching for an opportunity to open his own restaurant.
In 2004, the original Sushi Town opened in Bonney Lake, WA. It wasn’t very long before customers were visiting from throughout the state. Trapper’s Sushi Covington, our second location, was quickly followed by restaurants in Puyallup and Bremerton.
Today, Trapper’s has 15 restaurants in Washington state, Arizona, and Texas!
